configure: error: invalid variable name

I am installing nagios on a CentOS release 6.9 (Final) that is running on a virtual machine (virtual box).
The installation of nagios has already been executed I'm having problems installing the plugins. I downloaded the plugins in version 2.0.3 and when I run the "./configure --with-nagios-user=nagios –with-nagios-group=nagcmd" I have this error:
configure: error: invalid variable name: –with-nagios-group
The installation is running with the root user.
