Nagios Support Forum

I would like to upload perfdata at the end of a business day and it will include columns like : Host,Service,Metric,Timestamp,value
there will be thousands of these entries to represent the values throughout the day /minute or /second.

The idea is that we can graph the performance in nagios for the previous day.

Is this possible and if so how do I accomplish this ?

Technically it is possible kind of with perf data only however it would be difficult. This is not an existing feature and therefor not the scope of support. However if you wished to pursue this on your own you'd need to look at updating the RRD files with old data. This becomes much more difficult if newer data exists in the RRD.
