expanding Nagios XI vm

7.3G 7.0G 13M 100% /
tmpfs 3.9G 0 3.9G 0% /dev/shm
/dev/sda1 477M 69M 384M 16% /boot
i'm getting very low on space and now it seems to have stopped working
can i get some help with the process of expanding the VM?
