hi,

We wish to split our Nagios installation in two: For Proudction and for all others environments.
I would like to know if it's possible to create two Nagiox XI instances on the same Centos server ?
Or if it's possible to use the same license on two different server host.
We have an enterprise license (see screenshot attached).
If yes, is an additionnal license needed ?

Thanks in advance.

This is not supported. We support Nagios XI installations made on a clean, minimal CentOS or RHEL system. If Nagios XI already exists on the machine, it's not "clean".

Our licensing structure supports 3 deployments for a development -> testing -> production pipeline for your deployments/changes.

food for thought, because i like food. (specifically tacos) the backup & maint tool as well as snapshots will be your best friend for replicating prod -> dev <-> test, just a FYI. here's the doc you may find handy - https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ios-XI.pdf

You may find https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/gen ... utions.pdf useful if you are asking this question due to performance issues.

@smoulin, it's not clear. Were you asking this because of performance issues? If you are having specific performance issues, you should start a new thread for those. Thanks!
