Hi guys,

We have installed the following plugin for AD authentication on our Nagios Fusion server (2014R1.1):
https://exchange.nagios.org/directory/A ... on/details

It looks like it's been installed successfully, but I cannot figure out how to create a user that authenticates to our AD..

Regards,
Crystal

The component is a bit old and hasn't been updated in several years:

It's supposed to override the authentication completely I think, though. So once the component is installed and enabled, you should be able to use any AD users on the configured suffix+domain.

Were you encountering specific problems with the component? It didn't like my PHP environment despite my best efforts.

The new version of Fusion is slated to have native AD/LDAP support, though.

Thanks, I'll try creating a user with the domain suffix.

Do you have a specific release date for Fusion 4?

We're in the "closed beta" phase for it currently with a few customers, though unfortunately I do not have a set release date at this time. If you want to be included in the beta program, feel free to open a ticket with [email protected] requesting such.
