More user permission control

Hi,

Is there anyway to have more granular control of the user permissions? At the moment it is very all or nothing. In that, a user is an admin or they are a regular user, who cannot create alerts or even view the status of existing alerts. It would be nice to have more control to give users access to create their own alerts without affecting the alerts of other users. For example, allowing for a type of user that could only do an email alert for instance.

Our organization is evaluating Nagios Log Server, and this has been one of the feedback, that the user permission is too limiting.

Thanks.

More granular control of user permissions is something we're hoping to improve on going forward. Specifically, adding the ability for users to create their own alerts is something that should be included in version 2, which is planned for release by the end of Q3 of this year.
