Slower than expected performance

When loading the Hostgroup Summary, Hostgroup Overview, Hostgroup Grid, Servicegroup Summary, Servicegroup Overview or Servicegroup Grid pages in Nagios XI, there is what seems like a long delay in loading the page (12 - 15 seconds). Other pages load almost instantly. The server is a default install of the latest Nagio XI version, and there are only 4 hosts + localhost being monitored so far. Is there something that we should look at in the Nagios configuration, or the host OS config (apache, php, mysql etc.)?
Server has 2.6 Ghz processor and 2GB RAM on CentOS 6 64-Bit.

Although those pages do take a little bit longer to load, they shouldn't take that long with only 5 hosts. Do you see this slowness in the tactical overview as well, or just on the group pages?

The tactical overview seems to respond quickly (just as the other pages), this issue only affects the pages listed in my previous post.

Just out of curiosity... Do you experience this behavior in IE or Firefox? Did you try a different browser?

I've tried both FF8 and IE9, with the same result.

It's always possible it's a database issue with those specific tables, lets try our DB repair procedure.
