Nagios Log Server is running some seriously old versions of Elasticsearch and Logstash in version 1.4.4.

Elasticsearch = 1.6.0 (current 5.4.0)
Logstash = 1.5.1 (current 5.4.0)

Is there any possibility to upgrade Logstash and/or Elasticsearch on the current version of Nagios?
Is anything in the works of an official update with new versions of Logstash and/or Elasticsearch?

No.

Yes. NLS 2.0 will get an update, but it may not be to 5.4.0. It's hard to say when the next NLS will be out. If it's not out by July, check with us and we can probably give you an update.
