Hi,
1. For me it is working fine with FastEthernet switches, but for Gigabit Switches it is throwing errror and not working.
can you please help me to solve this.
Is it is possible to save SNMP string/strings across Nagios in a centralized location so that it can be used across commands.


2.can we have 3 SNMP read string as switches are configured based on location and function, so that system can find the appropriate one.

Regarding 1, please show the error.

Regarding 2, you should create a separate thread that includes more details on your issue. Perhaps a screenshot would be helpful.

Just checking in since we have not heard from you in a while. Did @avandemore's post clear things up or has the issue otherwise been resolved?
