Nagios Support Forum

The Idea: Have a voting system that has top voted ideas float upwards on the list.

The Purpose: The Nagios Ideas section on the forums is a start and to a degree provides an idea of what has the most interest, but not as accurately as voting would. It would provide a spot for idea entry and then registered users could then vote on the ideas to push for certain things to be developed.

So I came across this and thought it might be of interest. The set up that Reddit uses, as far as voting goes, would be an excellent system for determining which feature requests have the most weight and should garner more development.

This system could be pursued in one of two ways:
1) Create a sub-reddit and direct customers there.

2) Reddit offers their code from github: https://github.com/reddit/reddit/wiki
