Plotting Host Status Over Time

Post by tbower »

Is there a way we can display a status over time for the host group, to provide a timeline of systems coming online from a cold start?

You could run a report like this:
hostgroup_state_history.png
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Yes, the state history report does give us the data that we are seeking, but it doesn't present in a format that would be considered useful to us. Is there way to show that data in a plotted graph format?

You could download it as a CSV and import into something that will plot it as you see fit. There are no other Nagios supported solutions that I'm aware of.

Just checking in since we have not heard from you in a while. Did @avandemore's post clear things up or has the issue otherwise been resolved?
