Availability during Outages

Looking at the availability metrics/report, it seems that some systems are reporting 100% for last month, which seems odd as we know there was an extended outage. Is there a way to generate a report showing host availability even when Nagios host was down for an extended time.

The availability report and others are generated from data that is only collected when Nagios is operational.

Just checking in since we have not heard from you in a while. Did @avandemore's post clear things up or has the issue otherwise been resolved?
