ndo2db question

Is there any way to have more than one ndo2db process working at a time, and in parallel, so I can get my ipcs queue to climb down faster?

I know that a code rewrite is happening to make the ndo process work smarter and faster.

The ipcs queue is the one thing I keep an eye on the most. More than disk space even. It concerns me.

Will I always have to be aware of the message count there or will the future update make this become just a bad memory.

Thanks

Steve B

It's hard to say what will be included in future versions, but https://github.com/NagiosEnterprises/ndoutils/issues/38 is likely of interest to you.

This is on the XI 5.5 roadmap:
Faster backend and overall functionality
I've been telling people to check back in December about 5.5. We all hope it is before then, but there are a lot of changes, so it is going to take some time.

These are on the Core 5 roadmap:
Use multi-threading in critical sections
Breaking up the Nagios Core project into smaller projects and components
I can't say though when Core 5 will be released or when it will make its way into XI.
