Hi,

I did setup the Nagios Log server in machine thru VWware,for some reason after I entered the username as root and password as nagiosls,I am not able to access admin/Dashboard url.

Please let me know what was wrong I did?

That's the password for the command line, not the web interface. The web interface password would have been set when you initially visited it. The username is most likely nagiosadmin and you'll need to use whatever password you set up for that.

If you need to reset the nagiosadmin password, you can use a script located at /usr/local/nagioslogserver/scripts/reset_nagiosadmin_password.sh on the command line to do so.
