is it normal for the memory demand to jump when asking for a map view?

currently its hovering about 10gb of ram monitoring about 20 switches/stacks, but at times it jumps to a number in the billions of mb's of ram.

depending how large your stacks are, if you have any problematic ones that aren't responding properly to SNMP - this can cause threads to remain open during your checks, until they finally times out. at times, this can cause quite the load on the Nagios server.

ended up scraping the server and starting the build again, changed to fixed memory on the windows hyperv estate, seams ok now but it is running with spare ram and processor just to keep it sweet.

yes safe to close
