Hello Team,

I've been following instructions to monitor my Linux serve with non standard SNMP port, I can use "run check command" to test, no issue, I can test from ssh session, no issue, but I still get "RROR: Description/Type table : No response from remote hos" from service status.

Can someone please help with this problem?.

Thanks
yajing

Can you show us the check that you are running from the command line, along with the output of it? Also, show us the service definition of the "problem" service, along with the definitions of the command that is used, and any relevant templates.

hello Team,

For the ssh session testing:
date
Mon Jul 3 09:31:38 AEST 2017
cd /usr/local/nagios/libexec
./check_snmp_storage.pl -H 192.168.3.80 -p 8001 -C string -m "^/$" -w 2 -c 4
/: 76%used(15194MB/20031MB) (>4%) : CRITICAL

For the Run check command testing please refer to the attached file "Run check command.png".

And error info please refer to "No response error.png"

Thanks
