Need help with configuration

Nagios XI trial version is installed & I need some tech support to get this configured. can someone assist?

Can you elaborate a little bit more on "I need some tech support to get this configured"? What exactly are you having difficulties with?

I am a Network admin trying to get this Nagios XI up & running - to test prior to purchase. Does the auto-discovery work? If so, can you give me more information on how it works?

We don't have any documentation for auto-discovery, yet - still working on it, however we have a youtube video that you can take a look at:

I have the wizard & video does not help me. I would like to use it to scan our entire network.
1. Is it possible(to scan entire network)??
2.If so, (***.**.23.0 -through ***.**.222.0) How would you enter this into the wizard?
I have tried several ways that do not work. I was only able to get some with small segments at a time...

I would have to point out that this is a VERY large amount of IP addresses to auto-scan, about 50,745, and I would definitely not recommend running this as an auto scan.
That being said, you can change the values in the Scan Target and Excluded IPs to have larger networks than a /24
If you were to setup your hypothetical scan (***.**.23.0 -through ***.**.222.0) it would look like this:

Scan Target: xxx.xxx.0.0/16
Exclude IPs: xxx.xxx.0.0/20,xxx.xxx.16.0/22,xxx.xxx.20.0/23,xxx.xxx.224.0/20,xxx.xxx.240.0/20
Again, I would strongly encourage you not to run this. The scan will only identify possible common service you may want to monitor, you will then need to set each of them up.
