Hello Shlomia, Do you wish to check the status of your local network interface or a remote interface?

Hello,
I wish to check the status of few of my servers, so that's remote, I guess.
Thanks.
It's important I will be able to check the NIC speed. 1 GB / 100 MB / 10 GB

This plugin available on Nagios Exchange should provide the functionality you're looking for:

Can you install the SNMP Service on the Windows systems?
If so you can use the same plugin to get your data or you can use the Network Switch / Router wizard in the XI GUI to monitor the Status and Bandwidth of the Ethernet ports.
