Question regarding perfdata

For our distributed system we changed the names of the services quite alot. Today i noticed that the /usr dir was getting quite full. After some research i noticed that there was still lots of old perfdata located in the dirs.

My questions are:

1. Is there a easy way to clean up those old files from the gui somehow?
2. Is there a way to move that dir to a other location where it can run wild with its data? If yes how and where?

Not really, it wouldn't be a bad idea, but we don't have the feature at this time.

Yeah, some other users have sym-linked that directory to a separate drive so free up some space and some disk i\o on the primary drive.
