Hi,
We are currently using FAN (fully automated nagios) now we want to upgrade this to nagios XI we don't want to loose data, so please suggest what to do?.
Is there any way that we can merge database of nagios core to Nagios XI Database(which is also nagios core).

FAN is not something we built. I don't know what their configs look like. Generally speaking, the documentation you want is at
https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ios_XI.pdf

I can almost guarantee the work required would be non-trivial. FAN is using something totally different from NagiosQL to do it's configuration management. You'd need to do a heck of a lot of manual mappings.
The NDOUtils database is probably transferable, but that's worth exactly nothing in the context of Nagios XI.

I believe
@mcapra is responding more directly to your query:

He's correct.
Assuming FAN makes .cfg files that Core uses, then the document I provided is relevant.
As an alternative to importing the configs, you might be able to use use what you have manually:

Can you elaborate on this? Are you talking about a license key? You should have a fully functional copy of Nagios XI during the trial period... After the trial expires, you could either purchase a license or switch to using the "FREE" version of Nagios XI (monitoring up to 7 hosts). I guess I don't understand what is the real issue.
