Hi,

I'm trying to install nagios XI version 5.2.9 to Centos 7 and I'm having an issue; the D -chkconfigalldaemons script is not being processed properly, It's looking for a file called /ssl.conf but this file is non existent. Please advise if this version of Nagios is compatible with this Version of Centos.

Thank you!

I see you have another post. Did you decide to install on CentOS6? If so, may we close this topic?

Hi Bolson!

Yep, I created a new Server that has a Centos 6 installed and I got no problem installing the v5.2.9 but I need this to work inCentos 7, it doesn't work right now. I'm having a specific issue right here: (Picture 3 and Picture 4)

Picture 3_error centos7v5.2.9.png
I did the same process, can you check what might be the problem?

Thanks!

Hi Bolson,

Sorry for the late response, btw I was able to completely migrate nagiosxi v 5.2.9 from Centos 5(32bit) to centos 6 (64bit) with the same version. Now, I would like to try if it's possible to do this on Centos 7 (same version of Nagios) are there any compatibility issue? and pre-requisite needed besided the fullinstall script?

Thanks!

Hi, its me again.

You can close now this thread. I resolved it by commenting out the 'disable selinux' part on the D-chkconfigalldaemons script
