Taking "inventory" of services, notifications, etc

Hi All,
We recently purchased NagiosXI and have gotten it all setup and checking all of our servers. This was done by a collegue of mine who has just left the company, and now I am tasked with taking this project over.
At this point, I believe everything is in place, but I'm a bit confused on the heirarchy of templates and everything, particularly around notifications.
At this point before I get too deep into anything, I would like to just take a step back and get a pretty high level view of everything that has been done to this point. Is there an easy way to get a "audit" or "inventory" report of everything? I found this which looks promising, http://exchange.nagios.org/directory/Ut ... it/details , but it looks like we do not have the NDO database with the VM that was shipped for XI? Is that right or can I use that report?
Any thoughts are appreciated.
Thanks
