Run into an edge case. I have a Host with multiple services of the same name. (Somehow they were added.)

Anyway, when I go to use the API to delete said duplicate services, I get an error message:

Service cannot be deleted using this method. Must be deleted through the CCM.

Is there anything I can do about this via the API? Or am I really restricted to using the CCM GUI to delete these services?

What version are you testing this on? I just tried on 5.4.8 and was able to delete the duplicates by running the same command twice. If you're on an older version I would suggest upgrading. If you're on the same version then please provide screenshots showing the services as well as the command you are trying to run.

Well, as I said, it's thru the API, so no screenshots to show you. It's easy to do via the CCM GUI, but we're trying to do it via API.

We're currently on 5.4.0 -- I'll see if I can get someone from my team to upgrade to 5.4.8
