Not able to see assigned services (or hosts) in servicegroup

Hi, quick question here..

Working with service and host groups..
Using XI V5.4.7, on RHEL 7.4

I assign the service and host to respective host groups or service groups from the individual service or host management forms,
BUT when I go to the Host or Service GROUP Management forms, I see NO assigned hosts or services from that vantage point.. (reverse lookup?)

Seems logical that you would be able to see all those assigned hosts and services from these group viewpoints.

Am I missing a setting somewhere??

FWIW, everything works as expected, just can't look from the GROUP viewpoint..

Thx,

I am going to assume you are referring to the CCM when you say management form.

If you are looking at a hostgroup in the CCM and select "Manage Hosts" you will get a list of all your hosts on the left, at the bottom there is a legend which shows a link icon next to "Relationship defined elsewhere", and if you look through the list of hosts, of you assigned a host to a host group from the host edit page, you will see it has that "Relationship defined elsewhere" icon next to it and you cannot select it to assign.

Thanks, apparently I didn't go far enough into the button.. The "0" next to the "Manage Hosts" buttons is what threw me..

Thx...
