i had installed nagios core 4.0.8, it work normally in the CLI, but in the interface web after some time the status change to not running, when i checked the configuration i found that its running in CLI
and no errors ar guiven

Which linux distribution are you running because Core mainly built for centos and redhat but hasnt been tasted much on ubuntu.

It might require some packages to run without problems on Ubuntu.
