Goodday,

I have a question about connecting to NagiosXI with my smartphone.

Is there a tutorial for this issue? Because i want to see my servers while i'm at home or at the road for bussiness.

I have a HTC and want to see the servers with Nagroid.. I have access to domain registrar for my domain and able to create sub domain.

I noticed on your other post, you have XI in a VMWare ESXi environment. If you have a public IP address mapped to your XI instance you should be able to bring the XI interface up from your smart phone (albeit tiny).

You can simply create a host A record in your DNS server pointing to your public IP and then you could bring up your server at host.yourdomain.com

We just released the Nagios Mobile interface a few days ago, it might be worth looking into for use with your mobile device:

i made a mapping from external to internal in the company firewall and Nagroid seemed to work, but it's not working at all.... bummer

We have got a fortigate, made a rule mentioned the external address and the internal address from external WAN1 pointing to PORT1 internal. But this is not working out for me at the moment.

It's working now, forgotten to make a firewall policy.... and redirected it to another port not the default ports....
