Nagios Support Forum

Im currently using Nagios XI 5.4.10 to monitor both linux and windows machines. However i encounter this error when trying to monitor CPU, Disk usage , and Memory usage on a windows 7 laptop. I have already edited the password in the nclient.ini file and made sure the same password was applied to the Nagios server via the web console but still to no avail. I have also tried leaving the passwords blank but it didnt change a thing.

P.S its my first time with nagios so knowledge is limited.

Could you post your nsclient.ini file?

If you could also post a screenshot of where you put the password in XI?
(for example, you can check this by going to Home of XI --> Configure --> Core Config Manager --> Services --> Click on your Windows 7 host, any service will work CPU, Disk usage, etc)
Post the screenshot of how this (I'll post my screenshot of what I would like to see) Did you restart the NSClient service on your Windows 7 laptop when you change your password? Or did you rerun the wizard?
