We imported our nagios core configuration files from a V2 server including a lot of passive services that used NSCA to receive the status messages.
It turns out that NSCA seems to be very unreliable and we lose more of the status reports than get processed, causing a lot of false notifications.
We've decided that we can live without these passive reports and would like to drop them from the hosts, so is there a way to detach a service for ALL hosts that have it configured ?

Probably the fastest way would be to search for the service in the CCM (Configure -> Core Config Manager -> Services -> Search [upper right]) and then check all the boxes that you want to get rid of, at the bottom next to With checked select Delete
