Hi i have a problem with one of my hosts, in nagios GUI its showing as host is down but i'm able to ping from my nagios server to that host

Can anyone help me with this issue ?

Maybe you need to set check-host-alive check to be an check-host-alive-http on the host. Please, read this document:
