error: API Access is disabled

Team,
Getting following above msg in attempt executing REST API, is it something can be change thru UI?
Sounds very simple thing to check on but struggling to find more info about that option...

I assume you are logged in as another user?

The nagiosadmin will have to give you API access by going to Admin --> Manage Users --> Edit user --> Under Security settings --> then check the "Has API access" box --> Update User.

Then test it again to see if you have access to the API.
