When will Nagios core be upgraded to 4.3.x? Or can I somehow upgrade mine with out messing up XI?

Hello,@CSykes1. This change is coming up in XI 5.5.X. Hopefully, it will be released in the next month or so. I wouldn't recommend updating the Core engine manually though. We haven't really tested it.

Great question regarding the timeline of the Core upgrade in XI!

Having said that, I wouldn't upgrade Core within XI - XI depends on things that may or may not change between releases.

Even though we are saying Q4 2017, that is not a guarantee. You can judge for yourself how likely that seems considering it's now mid-October.
