What version of Nagios XI do you have? Which OS?
Is it just hosts or is it the services that show nothing for capacity planning?
Which check? Ping?
Can you take a screenshot of this?

Yes, for this particular capacity planning report you are showing me.
It is using PING for "rta" and "pl"
Does it come back if you enable ping?

Hi, can i ask you some problem about the nagios service,
Is our oracle services status showing “UNKNOWN - check_oracle_health timed out after 60 seconds” after we increase the timeout time from 60 to 120 sec, still occur the same error “UNKNOWN - check_oracle_health timed out after 60 seconds”, can provide some advice or troubleshoot for this problem.
Example command running: /usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_nrpe -H “ipaddress” -t 60 -c check_oracle_health -a mccmdb tablespace-usage "--tablespace TAB_MCC_INDX"
Latest Available Version: 5.4.10
Installed Version: 5.4.2
I hace try to direct server testing
==========================================
time /usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_nrpe -H 10.67.40.25 -t 60 -c check_oracle_health -a mccmdb tablespace-usage "--tablespace TAB_MCC_INDX"
UNKNOWN - check_oracle_health timed out after 60 seconds
real 0m59.210s
user 0m0.003s
sys 0m0.006s
I had try to direct login to the client server to run the command as below:
./check_oracle_health -t 180 --connect=mccmdb --username=###### --password="#######" --mode=tablespace-usage --tablespace=TAB_ODS_UCV Still occur the time out after 180 sec.
And I had try to direct login to the Oracle databases to check the tablespace is within 1min result come out.
please advise what can i do?
Thank you.

Sounds good!
We would be happy to answer that for you, but in order to keep threads separate to one topic. I would ask if you could create a new thread to the question you asked me.
That way if someone looks for capacity planning reports, they aren't seeing something about check_oracle_health which may be confusing.
Otherwise, are the capacity planning reports now showing once you enabled Ping?

Hi,
sorry for the late reply since i need some time to progress the ping service permission.
rta for _Host_ on L28MCCSMAPP2, pl for _Host_ on L28MCCSMAPP2 like previous i sent the screen shot, also cannot show out the any report.
But when i select the "PING" service on the capacity planning reports is showing good now.

Sounds good! Did you have any more questions or are we okay to lock this up?
