Dear Expert
FYI, many times, we have mentioned that we cannot survive without Display_Name, its very important as we adding vital info in that field.
However you not displaying this field in any where. You just giving priority to Service_Name (Service_Description), however we want you to consider this Display_Name in the same way.
We have done customization to view Display_Name in <HOME> <Operations Center> and <Host Detail> and <Service Detail> however somewhere we unable to view it. We tried to modify some script trial and error but failed. Please let us know which script we have to modify in order to achieve this.
We want to view this Display_Name in Host Status Detail && Service Status Detail (plz ref attachment)
We appreciate if you consider this minor feature add in future release, so we do not have do (customization) every time we upgrade the version.
Regards

Hello,
@zaji_nms. This will require modifying status.php file. We usually don't modify the source code in the support forum. So I will submit a feature request for what you're asking but I can't provide a timeframe. Our dev team needs to approve the request first, and then the oldest requests get first priority. You can, however, PM me or any other tech support in a few weeks-a month to check on the status of your feature request. Another quicker solution would be a custom dev request. You can email our sales team at
[email protected] for a quote.

Dear Expert
After long trial and error its done, however we appreciate your minor feature request to view the Host_Alias, Host_Display_Name in HOST Status Detail as well as in the SERVICE Status Detail.
The same way, please let able to view Service_Display_Name in the Service Status Detail.
We want you to give importance to Host_Display_Name && Service_Display_Name to show in nearly all the pages, as many times we told you that we cannot survive without Display_Name
Regards

It is possible that this feature is implemented in the future, but to be honest with you, chances are pretty slim as this is not a feature that is requested a lot (by many users).
Having said that, there are some "workarounds" that can help you show the display names for hosts/services. The host aliases and service descriptions should show up in the web UI if you have the "Display host aliases" and "Display service aliases" check-boxes selected under the "Account Information" page. You can access this page by clicking on the username in the upper-right corner.
For the services, when you enter a display name, it would show under the service status page instead of the service description.
Examples:

For the hosts, it's a bit "tricky" as the alias will display, but the "display name" won't. So, as a "workaround", you could use the Actions component. You will need to perform one "extra" click on the host of interest in order to see the "display name".
Here's how you need to set up the "Actions" component:
