Hi,

Im going to go to work on my boss for XI - im done with manual config editing after 6 years

Currently i have 2 Nagios Core servers running in a 2 different geo locations.

If i was to get a X node licence - is the licence restricted to 1 server or could i use 1 X node licence accross 2 physical servers, as long as i dont exceed the X node limit?

The "nodes" are the machines you are monitoring, so a 100-node could accommodate 100 hosts. Each license is limited to one production XI server, so if you were replacing two Core servers you would purchase two XI licenses.

I would suggest emailing [email protected] for details, as they have more knowledge of the licensing on their end, whereas the forum is more of a technical nature.
