Dear Expert

Currently in NagiosXI there is only one SMTP Host setting
Admin, Manage Email Settings , SMTP Setting , Host :

If there is multiple SMTP Host/Relay (at least two), very good. We will use for Internal Notification and External Notification

SMTP Host-1 :: first.smtp.net
allowed domain for Notification :: mycompany.com ; ourpartner.com ; valuedcust.net

SMTP Host-2 :: second.smtp.com
allowed domain for Notification :: OTHER

so in this case we have choice to deliver some Notification from first.smtp.net the email ending with @mycompany.com ; @ourpartner.com ; @valuedcust.net and the rest (OTHER) recipient, notification will go via second.smtp.com

Regards

If it were my problem to solve, I'd let the mail server solve mail problems.

In Postfix land, I'm pretty sure transport maps could tackle this. In Exchange land, mail flows are probably appropriate.

This could certainly exist as a feature in Nagios XI, but it seems less appropriate.

Thanks @mcapra!

zaji_nms, it is indeed a feature request for this that is still in the works. There is no exact ETA though.

It is under task_id=9304.
