FLAPPINGSTART/STOP state diagram

Hi Support team,

I was investigating FLAPPINGSTART, FLAPPINGSTOP scenario in op5 7.3.15.
I feel like these 2 states are sub-states of main states ( OK, CRITICAL, UNKNOWN, WARNING).
From nagios.log I have investigated and found some observations that,
From FLAPPINGSTART ( CRITICAL) FLAPPINGSTOP can move to any STATE like FLAPPINGSTOP(WARNING)/FLAPPINGSTOP(OK)/FLAPPINGSTOP(CRITICAL).
Please confirm me if my understading is correct.
I wanted to derive a rule table which will have 'Previous state of FLAPPING START', 'FLAPPINGSTART STATE', 'FLAPPINGSTOP STATE', 'NEXT STATE'.

Please let me know if there is any external diagram or internal document providing this information.

I have gone through link:
https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... pping.html

If we see nagios.log file

61537:[1484692952] SERVICE NOTIFICATION: IO;NTTACUS-UATCELL-MASTER-1-PA5020-037;Control Plane CPU Load;FLAPPINGSTART (WARNING);service-create-op5-ticket;SNMP WARNING - Control Plane CPU *3* %

61877:[1484707652] SERVICE NOTIFICATION: IO;NTTACUS-UATCELL-MASTER-1-PA5020-037;Control Plane CPU Load;FLAPPINGSTOP (CRITICAL);service-create-op5-ticket;SNMP CRITICAL - Control Plane CPU *4* %
61878:[1484707652] SERVICE NOTIFICATION: IO;NTTACUS-UATCELL-MASTER-1-PA5020-037;Control Plane CPU Load;CRITICAL;service-create-op5-ticket;SNMP CRITICAL - Control Plane CPU *4* %

My question is bit different.
Say current state of a service is 'FLAPPINGSTART (CRITICAL)', what would be state of FLAPPINGSTOP? CRITICAL or WARNING or OK?

Like this, wanted to know complete rule matrix.

Many Thanks,
TSJ

I know your op5 has something called a nagios.log, but we don't support op5. You will need to contact their support or port on their forums.
