Using Nagios Plug-In for Cisco UCS with Nagios XI

We recently purchased Nagios XI and I'm trying to add monitoring for Cisco UCS systems using the Cisco Nagios Plug-In. I'm following Cisco's guidance from this link:
https://communities.cisco.com/docs/DOC-52835. I've successfully installed the plug-in and run the AutoDiscovery script.
The problem is that the instructions are based on Nagios Core. Autodiscovery generates config files, but I don't know how to use them with XI. How can I use the Cisco Plug-in with Nagios XI?

Is the autodiscovery script from cisco or do you mean the our autodiscovery wizard in Nagios XI?
Did you add the newly discovered host and it's services for the Cisco UCS? What's the config files look like can you show us?
Does the plugin work when you run it from the command line? Can you show us an example of it working?
Nagios Core is generally the same as Nagios XI since we use Core in the backend.

This is Cisco's AutoDiscovery script. I've run the script and it seems to have created a set of config files. But when I look at the NagiosXI GUI interface, I don't see that the UCS host or any services have been added.
How do I apply the configuration files that were created to Nagios Core?

I re-ran the autodiscovery script this time using the -f option with the config built into the config file and everything showed up in Nagios XI.
So it seems that the Hosts and Services are configured outside of Nagios XI and via Nagios Core only. Can you confirm that these hosts added by the autodiscovery script won't count against my Nagios XI Host Count? Since they can't be configured with Nagios XI I wouldn't think they would count against my license?

If the Cisco script created config files, for Nagios you can upload them through the UI for Nagios XI.
As long as you have them in your
/usr/local/nagios/etc/ directory.
Go to XI Home --> Configure --> Core Config Manager --> under Tools (click import config files) select the
cfg file then click "import"
There is also some documentation on doing this.
Importing to the CCM.

Importing Configs manually.

Do they show up in Core UI that is running under XI? Going to the URL
