We are running Nagios XI .....

When trying to access from my internal web 192.168.1.xxx/nagiosmobile I am getting the following error message.

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator at root@localhost to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Any help would be great. I am trying to get this to work from the outside on my mobile device.

Somthing I notice is this. When I run the ./INSTALL.php I am getting the following error.

[root@nag nagiosmobile]# ./INSTALL.php

I did a grep for httpd as well

Any advice would be great. Just want to get this working.

After doing some more troubleshooting I am seeing the following error


tail -f /var/log/httpd/error_log

[Thu Dec 14 11:15:43.874809 2017] [authn_file:error] [pid 37335] (2)No such file or directory: [client 192.168.1.xxx:63532] AH01620: Could not open password file: /usr/local/nagios/etc/htpasswd.users

Not sure how to fix this. Please assist me with this.

This file does not exist here:
/usr/local/nagios/etc/htpasswd.users

how ever it exists here:
/usr/local/nagiosxi/etc/htpasswd.users

ok did the following:
cp /usr/local/nagiosxi/etc/htpasswd.users /usr/local/nagios/etc/

now I am able to bring up the site from internal network

The final question I have is this. Do you have an iOS or Andriod app for this or documentation on what I need to do in order to get to this from my mobile device outside MY network???????

To access your Nagios server from outside your network you would need to configure your internet router to forward port 80 of your WAN (Outside) IP address to port 80 of your LAN (inside) IP address.
