I'm not receiving any text alerts, is there any service that i need verify on the nagiosxi server?
I dint found any error related to text/sms in the log file "/usr/local/nagiosxi/var/eventman.log"

FYI - Email notification works fine, and i have already verified under notification that the text notification is sent to the correct contact.

If the text notification was sent by nagios to the correct contact, but hasn't been received, it is possible that the mobile carrier is blocking the email-to-text messages for this contact.

Have you tried sending a test SMS notification, while logged in as this user? Are you using SMTP or Sendmail? Can you find any clues in "/var/log/maillog" or "/usr/local/nagiosxi/tmp/phpmailer.log"?

When i try to send the text alert manually it works fine.

Can you PM me your Profile? You can download it by going to Admin > System Config > System Profile and click the ***Download Profile*** button towards the top. If for whatever reason you *cannot* download the profile, please put the output of View System Info (5.3.4+, Show Profile if older) in the thread (that will at least get us some info). This will give us access to many of the logs we would otherwise ask for individually. If security is a concern, you can unzip the profile take out what you like, and then zip it up again. We may end up needing something you remove, but we can ask for that specifically.

You can also generate a profile manually using the script at /usr/local/nagiosxi/html/includes/components/profile/getprofile.sh

That should generate a profile in /usr/local/nagiosxi/var/components/ which you can get off the server with an application such as FileZilla.

After you PM the profile, please update this thread. Updating this thread is the only way for it to show back up on our dashboard.

UPDATE: Profile received and shared with techs

Cant upload the profile.zip, when i tried it says "The file is too big, maximum allowed size is 1 MiB"
I have emailed you the profile. Kindly confirm

@bosecorp, Would you be able to upload it to a cloud storage of your choice, say a Google Drive for example and share a download link? Otherwise, you could send the profile to me via PM. It has a higher upload threshold.

@bosecorp, I got a hold of the profile. First, I see that you do have a lot of these messages: That could be because in `send email from` field you've chosen a non-existing email and so by default Nagios writes out all bounce-back messages to /var/mail/root and, or /var/mail/nagios. Their limit is 50 mb by default and looks like it's already maxed out. Please run this command to clear out the log files: Next, please make sure that all these settings are enabled(i bet they are but just in case): And my last recommendation would be to use SMTP Settings instead of Sendmail settings if you can. If you go to the Admin menu, then under System Config you'll see "manage email settings". Change the mail method to SMTP, fill out the host, port, username, and password.
