Hi,

Can you guide me about the changing the subject line for notification received from Nagios?

Below is the template how we receive it and I am looking to replace the text root and append the Name like Nagios 1 as we have 4 difference instances.

Nagios has detected a problem with this service.

Notification Type: PROBLEM

Service: Ping
Host: lxxxxx-xxxx
Address: lxxxxxx3-xxxx
State: CRITICAL

You mean change the sent from address? If so, -r or -f and the address you want it to come from. The "or" is because sendmail is not always really sendmail. It's probably not really important. Just try one and if it works great! If it doesn't, try the other. If that also doesn't work, let us know.
