Dear users

Our Nagios has a high current load. My first question is where can I change the values that indicate "ok", "warning" or "critical"?
I can't seem to find it, not even in the core config manager.

Second: does this mean that our Nagios servers lacks CPU power?

498 days is a long time to have high load. Yes, your machine is definitely under-powered, assuming it has 4 or fewer cores (load does not take into account how many threads the entire system is capable of servicing).

You can go into the Core Configuration Manager, search for the "Current Load" service, and adjust your thresholds there if you want to increase them.

I say again though, 498 days is a long time to be at 7+ load and you might strongly want to consider adding resources to this machine. However, if it is a somewhat powerful machine already, I would suggest that something is wrong, because Nagios really wouldn't take up THAT much CPU for 498 days straight. There may be something else going on, and you would need to use sysadmin tools to diagnose it, not Nagios tools.
