Nagios Support Forum

Hi,
I am getting this error when trying to install nagios XI via commands:

tar xzf xi-latest.tar.gz
cd nagiosxi
./fullinstall

Error message:

Makefile:49: *** missing separator. Stop.
ERROR: Subcomponent 'ndoutils' installation failed - exiting.

I am running Ubuntu 16.04

Any idea? Thanks a lot.

Ubuntu is not currently supported as an operating system to install Nagios XI on. We currently only support CentOS and RHEL 6 and 7.
