A OVF used to be sold and distributed, but was discontinued:

Nagios XI OVFs are still available:

Is it diferent to Nagios core (free)?. In others words, a have pay for use this download the Nagios XI?

I will like use nagios free...

The downloads from the second link (https://www.nagios.com/downloads/nagios-xi/vmware/) are for our paid, commercial product, Nagios XI, which uses Nagios Core under the hood but is a separate product otherwise.

We offer a free license for up to 7 hosts, but anything beyond that requires a paid license.
