Exchange 2013 Monitoring with NRPE

My company recently encountered some issues with our hybrid Exchange servers in Office 365 that raised an issue with our monitoring. Our Exchange admin wants to monitor the count of messages dropped and sent with graphing. I thought this issue could be solved by utilizing the Exchange Configuration Wizard but it appears to be geared towards using the check_nt module instead of NRPE in NSClient++. I looked through the Nagios Exchange but many of the plugins I found do not appear to be under active development. Are there any recommended plugins that the engineers from Nagios recommend? Alternatively, is it possible to take the output of a PowerShell script that provides this information and graph it?

Maybe someone with a preference will chime in, but creating a custom plugin using powershell is definitely doable and may be better suited for your needs.

https://support.nagios.com/kb/article/n ... t-528.html and http://nagios-plugins.org/doc/guidelines.html would be the most helpful, but you can find more details/examples at:
