Hi,

I have a specific question regarding Grafana and Nagios alert configuration. On what specific use case should i use Grafana or Nagios Alerting system? I am little confused since both provide alert notifications feature.

That choice would be entirely up to you. Nagios can integrate with basically any notification system if you do not want to use plain email. As we did not write Grafana we cannot speak to its pros and cons.
