any inputs on this ? .. same issue with my availability report as it including the scheduled downtime period .

Hello, I split your post into a new thread because the one before was really old and you should create a separate topic for your issue.
What are you using? Core? XI?
What version?
In XI, there is already an option for this if you click on "Advanced" --> "Hide Scheduled Downtime"

I would like to mention that you are using an older version of Core.
There is also an issue with this feature in the new Nagios Core version 4.3.4 for your issue.
