Is this a default installation, have you made modifications? I just spun up a new machine on 5.4.13 and see it just fine.

What browser are you using?

Do other links under the open menu show up?

This is very strange. Usually, this type of issues are caused by trying to upgrade the NagVis version that ships with Nagios XI. You haven't tried upgrading NagVis manually, have you? What is the version of Nagios XI that you upgraded from?

One thing you can try is rerun the "upgrade" script with the "-f" flag, that would force updating of components, wizards, and dashlets.

Code: Select all

cd /tmp/nagiosxi
./upgrade -f
If this doesn't help, create a backup of your Nagios XI system, even snapshot it (if this is a VM). Go to Admin > System Extensions > Manage Components, find NagVis, and delete it by clicking on the "X" (delete button) on the run. Next, rerun the upgrade script with the "-f" flag as shown above.

Let us know if this helped.

No I have just upgraded Nagios XI to the latest version 5.4.13

What is the version of Nagios XI that you upgraded from?
I think not very sure xi-5.4.0

One thing you can try is rerun the "upgrade" script with the "-f" flag, that would force updating of components, wizards, and dashlets.
I Have re-run ./upgrade -f with no success

If this doesn't help, create a backup of your Nagios XI system, even snapshot it (if this is a VM). Go to Admin > System Extensions > Manage Components, find NagVis, and delete it by clicking on the "X" (delete button) on the run. Next, rerun the upgrade script with the "-f" flag
I have done this again but still WUI link is missing

Kindly assist on this thanks again

On the right can you go to "Heed Help" -> Nagvis Support Information
and send a screenshot of that page?

Thanks

Thanks for sending the screenshot.

You are logged in as "kuriam".

Does this user have admin access or just a regular user?

If you go to Nagvis --> User menu --> click "Manage Users" --> Select kuriam and it should list whether you are a Guest, Administrator, Manager, or Read-only user.

If you are not an administrator set yourself as one and then restart httpd and try to view WUI again.

Let me know how it goes.

Did you do this?

This is a different Admin than the Nagios Admin, Nagvis has it's own user authorization
