Dear All,

We are facing issue while doing snmpwalk on AIX 7.2

Nagios Error where snmwalk working but data polling is getting failed due to “Table Empty error”
Snmp working fine on client host as well able to see communication in snmpwalk thread

Also getting some DPI error which is somewhere related to Key exchange between Nagios server and client which failing or it could be due to some licence key failing.

Screenshot is attahced.

Thanks
Niklesh Chaudhary

This is likely a snmp configuration on the client host where you are only allowing some information in the SNMP tree to be seen by other hosts

If the snmpwalk command is identical on the client, then this has to be the case.

Dear scottwilkerson,

Thanks for your response,
Further to your analysis, it would be great if you can suggest the configuration required for full snmpwalk or what parameters to be enabled in configuration of snmp.

Awaiting revert.

The command that you showed is the full snmpwalk

If you run that on the client ange get more results then you snmp configuration is somehow limiting the results to your nagios server.
