Hi Team,

One server went down at 2018-03-26 10:25:18 and came up at 2018-03-26 10:38:53. Hence alert is created for that. After working with Server and network team it was found that server was up for last 16 days and there was no network fluctuation as well. Network team though mentioned that Nagios office ASA network was fluctuating.

Could you please help us to understand was there any Nagios issue which created this incident.

I don't even know what type of check this is running, but it likely does not matter.

If the connection between the Nagios XI server and the server you are connecting to isn't stable you will not be able to perform the checks.

In this case it was attempting to run the check and it looks like it was timing out after 30 seconds, and sending a critical as it should
