Hi ALl,

i have one problem with my router ASR9000 have many port but when i try to monitor via SNMP it working only current up port and other and now i need to use other port but i don't how to add to my host because i don't see this port on my Router. so how can i do?

What is the version of Nagios XI and the "Network Switch / Router" wizard that you are currently using? Have you tried rerunning the "Network Switch / Router" wizard against your device? For more information, please review the the document below:

Yes I used wizard ( Network Switch / Router ) on this router with name and IP so is it ok if i run Wizard again with the same Name and IP to get other UP Port? one more if i run wizard again will it conflict to my current monitor port or not?

Re-running the Network Switch/Router wizard using the same IP and name, will not change any of your existing services for other ports since you have them already. XI will only add the ones you currently don't have.

How add monitor on Nagios XI to other module on switch or router? i noted that when i try to run snmp on my switch or router without module so it can monitor only build in physical port but now i already add module to my switch or router and i don't know how to monitor port module, so do you have solution for this case?

I'm not entirely sure what you mean here?

Is this referencing to re-running the switch wizard?

I'm not sure what you mean by port module?

If you could explain more on what you are trying to do, this would help.

Cisco Module i mean " 10 Gigabit Fiber SFP "

All Cisco Router and Switch firstly, if i don't plug in cisco router or switch and when i run wizard snmp it don't show any more so, the problem is after i'm already done wizard snmp and i plug in cisco module SFP in to router or switch it not show on services for monitor interface. Any way to do if i don't want to delete and re-run wizard?

So when you're adding in the "10 Gigabit Fiber SFP", after the wizard is completed. Then when you rerun the wizard, it doesn't show up?

Are you looking to monitor this SFP then? It may be best to just re-run the wizard to see if it shows.

Try to create a new host/service for this switch by changing the host_name on page 2 when running the wizard. Does it show up now?

Could you take a few screenshots of XI when doing this, I'm still not entirely sure as I have never monitored any SFP before.
